Komen Foundation withdraws PP Support</title><summary type='text'>Yesterday, we learned that the Susan G.  Komen Foundation (SGK) withdrew financial support it has customarily given to Planned Parenthood (PP), not for abortions, but for breast exams and other diagnostic procedures that PP has provided or otherwise procured for many women over the past decades.

Yesterday, we attended the Chrism Mass for the Archdiocese of Boston with many other seminarians, a handful of bishops, and about 250 priests, including 4 Oblates and the Greek Orthodox Metropolitan Methodius and an accompanying priest from that church. It is celebrated as a Proper Solemnity by the Congregation. 

At Morning Prayer, Br. John and Br. Tom renewed their temporary vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience in the spirit of Fr. Lanteri, a solemn and joyous occasion for the entire congregation.
